STERLING, Ill.–Wahl Clipper has launched its Man of the Year contest, in which participants with facial hair can submit photo entries at wahlnation.com.
Voting on the contest will conclude on Dec. 23; finalists will receive an mp4 player, and the winner will receive a 42-inch flat-panel, high-definition television.
Wahl has also begun its Let It Grow Tour and mobile barbershop, which will be on the road from August through October. The tour will search for men with “great facial hair,” according to a company statement, and will provide tips on proper trimming techniques. The company will give trims throughout the tour using the Wahl Lithium Ion trimmer. The tour schedule is also posted on wahlnation.com.
The company is celebrating both its 90th anniversary in business this year and the 25th anniversary of the facial-hair trimmer.
