Wahl Positions Products to Reduce "Unnecessary" Gifts
STERLING, Ill.-Wahl has begun a campaign to position some of its products as gifts consumers want and need.
The grooming-products company conducted a holiday-gifts study which found that "unnecessary gifts" accounted for nearly 50 percent of purchases in last year's holiday season. The study also found that 35 percent of consumers want gifts that will help them save money this holiday season.
To support these findings, Wahl is presenting a holiday lineup that includes the Lithium Ion Clipper as a hair-cutting system that enables families to save on hair cuts. Also, it is offering the Pro Series Pet Clipper, which helps to reduce on the costs of cutting pet hair. The company is also pushing its Deep-Tissue Percussion Massager as a gift for active people who are seeking to relieve muscle pain.
