CLEVELAND–A Vita-Mix CIA Professional Series blender, an autographed picture of celebrity chef Michael Symon and an autographed menu were auctioned at Share Our Strength’s A Tasteful Pursuit event here.
The picture was from Vita-Mix’s advertising campaign, which shows a number of celebrity chefs posing naked with the Vita-Mix blender. The event took place at Lola, Symon’s restaurant, and included a number of celebrity chefs. The items were auctioned for $20,000, and the event as a whole raised $100,000.
Share Our Strength’s A Tasteful Pursuit is a national touring series that features renowned chefs, and that raises funds to fight childhood hunger in the United States.
