The Cookware Company Moves to Larger Office, Plans for Additional Staff
TARRYTOWN, N.Y.-The Cookware Company is slated to move to a larger office space here next week, based on continued and expected growth. The new location is at 660 White Plains Road, where the company will occupy 4,780 square feet of space, more than double its current office. The larger office space will allow for additional employees and a larger conference room to host client meetings and display the company's growing product assortment.
In the U.S. office alone, sales and support staff has doubled in the last six months to 14 employees, and several more in that area are expected to be added by the end of the year. The U.S. office first opened in 2010.
"Our U.S. sales team has done a tremendous job of growing our relationships with retailers and dot-coms nationwide, who are now carrying our products," said Dieter Naessens, executive vice president of sales, the Americas. "We look forward to expanding our team in this new office space in order to meet the demands we are facing. The more support we have internally, the better we are able to provide a high level of service and support to our customers and vendors."
Internationally, the Belgium-based company employs more than 1,000 people and has experienced 30 percent growth in its number of employees since this time last year, the company said. It added that sales are up 50 percent increase over last year. Its offices are worldwide, including in Hong Kong, the Czech Republic, Japan and the United Kingdom.
