NEW YORK—T-fal has launched a television advertising campaign and a new website for its ActiFry cooker.

A TV commercial for the appliance is airing on NBC stations in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, and will continue through the holiday shopping season and into next year. The website has been upgraded to include information about the technology and design of the unit, along with a description of its heating capabilities. The site also features a section for users to find new dishes to cook with the ActiFry, search recipes by ingredients or upload their favorite dishes they have created.

Also part of the campaign is a digital component, including national banner ads, search media and a YouTube ActiFry channel on which the TV ad can be seen.

The ActiFry allows the user to make a broad range of dishes in one machine, using vegetables, meat, poultry, seafood, grains and fruits, all with little to no oil. It automatically cooks with a patented heat-pulsing action that evenly cooks the food at a constant temperature of 338 degrees Fahrenheit, while the paddle gently stirs the food.
