ATLANTA–Coffee supplier Batdorf & Bronson has created a special Cook’s Warehouse blend of coffee that the specialty retailer will serve to customers in its four stores from any of the grind-brew coffeemakers that Cook’s sells. It will also sell the coffee in one-pound bags of freshly roasted beans.
Batdorf & Bronson offers certified organic, fair-trade certified and bird-friendly, shade-grown coffees and continuously tries to lighten its environmental footprint through the purchase of 100 percent renewable energy, the company said. It has produced a special blend for The Cook’s Warehouse made from organic Nicaraguan beans. It is a mixture of beans roasted to medium and also to a slightly darker roast and then blended together.
Jason Dominy, Batdorf & Bronson’s Atlanta customer support and outreach coordinator, will teach a series of two-part classes for The Cook’s Warehouse. The first class will be on site at its West Side roastery and the second class will focus on brewing techniques in a Cook’s Warehouse store.
