AIRPORT CITY, Israel-In the latest of a series of partnerships that is extending its beverage offerings, SodaStream has entered into an agreement with Skinnygirl, the lifestyle brand, on a series of low-calorie, naturally sweetened beverage flavors for SodaStream’s home carbonation systems.
Under the terms of this agreement, the two companies will co-develop “a family of better-for-you flavors designed with women’s taste in mind,” according to a joint statement from the two companies. The new line is expected to be available in the United States during the second half of 2014. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Daniel Birnbaum, SodaStream’s CEO, said, “Consumers are getting smarter about their bubbly beverage choices, and now they can enjoy their favorite Skinnygirl drink with style, custom-made fresh and exactly as they like it each time.”
Since last March, SodaStream has formed alliances with Cott, Del Monte and Welch’s to extend their flavor offerings.
