HOT SPRINGS, Ark.–Smith’s Consumer Products, Inc. has appointed Troy Davis vice president of marketing. This is a newly created position that reports directly to Dan Glidden, CEO.
As a member of the firm’s executive team, Davis will lead the company’s worldwide branding initiatives and oversee marketing, advertising, public relations, consumer and trade promotions, social media and digital strategy, and marketing research. Davis joins the marketing team of Russ Cowen, sporting goods and hardware marketing manager, and Melissa Moore, housewares marketing manager.
“Delivering innovative, consumer-centric strategic marketing programs will accelerate the execution of our strategy and drive our continued market expansion,” Glidden said. “Troy has proven skills in driving strategies for market penetration, brand awareness and revenue growth. He’s going to have an immediate positive impact on Smith’s business. We’re excited to welcome such a proven marketing strategist to the team.”
Prior to joining Smith’s, Davis served as director of marketing for The Evogi Group and has held executive level marketing positions of increasing responsibility with Macy’s, Inc., Kraft Foods Group Inc., Wells’ Dairy Inc., ConAgra Foods Inc., and Sargento Foods, Inc.
