STOCKHOLM-Blueair has named Herman Pihltrad president of the company’s U.S. operations, succeeding Bengt Rittri, the company’s founder.
Pihltrad is responsible for increasing the company’s already-growing market share in the United States, and retains his post as general manager of the air-treatment products manufacturer’s non-U.S. business. Rittri will remain with Blueair, focusing on escalating the company’s operations in Asia. He founded the company in 1996.
In taking his new post, Pihltrad said the company intends to “expand our presence with rigor and great air-purifying products” in the United States and elsewhere.
