Peugeot Appoints Exec Team, Names Laugier General Manager
CHICAGO-In an effort to expand its presence in the U.S. market, Peugeot is now 100 percent owned by PSP SAS of France, with a new team in place dedicated to the Peugeot brand and to U.S. market growth. The new operation is based in Chicago and is being led by Yvette Laugier, who was named general manager.
Laugier previously served as national account manager at Taylor Precision Products. She reports to both Aymeric Geant, global sales and marketing director at PSP SAS, and Jean-Philippe Fornage, CEO of PSP SAS, both located at the parent office in France.
"Our primary goal is to service our customer," said Laugier. "Our new facility will ensure each and every customer receives exemplary support from our new team. We have lofty goals ahead and are very excited about the future of PSP USA."
Jeff Blanchard has also joined the executive team as sales manager, reporting to Laugier. Blanchard was a buyer at Sur La Table from 1999-2004 and later worked with Swissmar from 2008-2013. In the time between, Blanchard worked in his family's business.
In addition, Evona Antos was named customer service manager and Marie Vavassori-Fundis, brand manager; she will work in customer service and warehouse personnel as well.
