CRANBURY, N.J.–Executive Pastry Chef James Mullaney will demonstrate the Silpat line of non-stick baking mats at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market in the HIC Showroom on Jan. 11, 2013 from 3–3:30 p.m.
Mullaney will prepare recipes including baked barbecue chicken wings, baked brie en croute, handmade cheese pizza and pecan pralines using the Silpat line, made by Sasa Demarle. All attendees will also automatically be entered in the running for a chance to win a CDU of the Silpat U.S. Half Size, worth $300.
Chef Mullaney has been featured on the Food Network, TLC and in Pastry Art & Design magazine. He was selected to represent the United States in 2006 and 2009 in World Pastry Championships in the United States and in Lyon, France. In 2005, he was awarded the National Champion title at the National Pastry Team Championship held in Phoenix, Arizona and has claimed more than 30 other medals in chocolate, pastry and ice carving competitions over the course of his career.
