SECAUCUS, N.J.-Panasonic Consumer Electronics Co. has added to its product lineup in both the hair-care and beauty categories.
In the former, the company has debuted the EH-NA65-K nanoe Hair Dryer and the EH-HS95-K nanoe Flat Iron, both of which use the company’s proprietary nanoe technology to infuse hair with moisture. The technology produces nano-sized electrostatic atomized water particles that retain about 1,000 times more moisture than a normal negative ion, according to a Panasonic statement. In these tools, nanoe particles are released throughout the styling process, providing hair with moisture and reducing frizz.
In the beauty segment, Panasonic has introduced the Facial Ionic Steamer and the Wet/Dry Epilator/Shaver. The steamer uses nano-sized particles, 4,000 times smaller than normal steam, to penetrate deeply into skin and hydrate the complexion. The epilator/shaver is designed with 48 rotating tweezing discs which remove hair at the root, and a pivoting head which provides 60-degree wide back-and-forth movement that adjusts to the contours of the skin and provide gentle hair removal.
