NASSAU, Germany–Housewares company Leifheit’s Supervisory Board has named Claus-O. Zacharias as its new chief financial officer, succeeding Frank Gutzeit. Zacharias has been managing director of NICI, a company in Altenkunstadt, Germany, that produces stuffed animals and other gift products.
Gutzeit is leaving the company by Sept. 30 to pursue other interests, the company said in a statement, and the board thanked him for his “commitment and reliability in a challenging phase of reorganization, and wishes him every success in his future career.”
