Krups Launches Campaign to Recognize First Responders and Military Personnel

       

       

NEW YORK-The Krups brand of small kitchen electrics has unveiled the 2012 “Krups Appreciates…” campaign to honor first responders and military personnel for their efforts in protecting U.S. communities.

The campaign has been positioned around National Coffee Day, which takes place on Sept. 29. It includes a nationwide contest offering firemen, police officers, emergency medical technicians and active and retired military personnel the chance to win a break-room or kitchen makeover with new, high-end Krups appliances including coffee machines, blenders, panini makers and other products.

The contest is featured on Krups’ Facebook page and is open for entries through Oct. 19. To enter, participants who like the Krups Facebook page must upload a photo of their firehouse, precinct, response center or off-base military office break room or kitchen area, along with a caption of 20 words or less describing why their team is most deserving of the grand prize.

The prize is worth up to $2,999 in appliances. Contest guidelines are on the Krups Facebook page. In addition, from Sept. 29-Oct. 9, all Krups Facebook fans can take advantage of an exclusive 15 percent discount on coffee appliances, accessories and other products in honor of National Coffee Day.
