SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.–Wilshire Industries will launch its Island Bamboo brand in the Australian market this week. It will debut at the Home and Giving Show in Melbourne, Australia, with distributor Peter McInnes Pty Ltd.

Peter McInnes distributes several major brands, such as KitchenAid and Vitamix, throughout Australia and New Zealand. “We know our brand will be well represented with Peter McInnes. They know customer service and work diligently to serve the needs of retailers,” said Steve Sudakoff, president of Wilshire Industries.

Island Bamboo, known for its eco-friendly bamboo kitchenware products, has been broadening its worldwide reach. Following a January expansion into Canada, Island Bamboo products are now available in the United States, Canada, South America, Japan and now Australia.

The Home & Giving fair in Melbourne takes place Aug. 6 -10 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and Melbourne Showgrounds.
