Iron Chefs Will be What’s Cooking At Housewares Show

       

       

ROSEMONT, Ill.—Five of the chefs featured on the Food Network’s “Iron Chef America” will display their culinary skills in the Cooking Theater at the upcoming International Home & Housewares Show.
Chefs Mario Batali, Cat Cora, Masaharu Morimoto, Michael Symon and Jose Garces will cook for the benefit of housewares show attendees beginning at 9 or 9:30 a.m. on each day of the show, which runs from Sunday, March 14 through Tuesday, March 16. The Cooking Theater is located in the Gourmet Home + Food District (GOHO) portion of the show. The theater is jointly sponsored by All-Clad Metalcrafters, KitchenAid and Wilton Brands, and all food supplies will be provided by Whole Foods Market.
In addition to the “Iron Chefs,” the Cooking Theater will feature demonstrations by the celebrity chefs Paula Deen, Todd English, Ellie Krieger, Suvir Saran, Ming Tsai, Rick Bayless, Gale Gand, Rick Tramonto, the Hearty Boys, Stephanie Izard, Dale Levitski and Tre Wilcox. Local Chicago chefs Martial Noguier and Suzanne Imaz will also give demonstrations.
