ROSEMONT, Ill.–More than 23,000 buyers are expected to attend the International Home & Housewares Show later this month, as the International Housewares Association announced that buyer registration is on a record pace, with a surge in participation from U.S. independent retailers, as well as a “reaction by international buyers to especially positive currency conditions,” according to a statement. Last year, a record 21,969 buyers registered for the show.
“We are pleased that the global retail community continues to make the show their key annual marketplace for home goods” said Phil Brandl, president of IHA, the show’s not-for-profit sponsor. “With a record number of new product introductions scheduled, we look forward to a busy three days in Chicago.”
