CHICAGO–McCormick Place will open its doors here at 10 a.m. today for the start of the 2014 International Home + Housewares Show, featuring thousands of new products across several different categories. The show starts at 8:30 a.m. for the rest of its run, through Tuesday, March 18.
In addition to the miles of aisles of new products, there are plenty of educational opportunities to take advantage of here in Chicago. The keynote education sessions begin tomorrow and run through Tuesday. The Cooking Theater stage, meanwhile, heats up today. Beginning at 11:30 a.m., attendees can catch a cooking demonstration or book signing from chefs such as Ming Tsai, Michelle Bernstein, Lorena Garcia, Rick Bayless and others throughout the day. The Cooking Theater will feature dozens of other guest chefs throughout the show.
The IHA Innovation Awards will be announced today at 4:30 p.m. in the Innovation Theater, Lakeside Center, Room E350, just off the Hall of Global Innovation.
