Helen of Troy Closes Acquisition of Pert Plus and Sure Brands

       

       

EL PASO, Texas–Helen of Troy has finalized its acquisition of the Pert Plus and Sure brands from Innovative Brands.

Gerald Rubin, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Helen of Troy, said the company will proceed with its previously announced plan to integrate Pert Plus, a shampoo brand, and Sure, an anti-perspirant brand, into its Idelle Labs division, which manages Helen of Troy’s hair and skin-care brands. Rubin said sales of Pert Plus and Sure products will be about $65 million on an annual basis.

“The Pert Plus and Sure brands will further enhance our role as a comprehensive provider of solutions for our hair-care and personal-grooming consumers and styling professionals,” Rubin said.
