LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.–Hearthware, manufacturing of the NuWave Pro Infrared Oven, has been named 2011 Marketer of the Year by the Direct Response Marketing Alliance (DRMA).
The company received the honor for its infomercial, which showcased the advantages of the NuWave Pro focusing on consumer desires for quick and health meals along with energy conservation. According to a Hearthware statement, the NuWave Pro combines infrared, conduction and convection heat to save time and use up to 85 percent less energy than conventional ovens. It also drains up to 250 percent more fat than conventional ovens.
Last year, the infomercial was named the 2010 Best Housewares Infomercial by Jordan Whitney.
