WATERBURY, Vt.–Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, parent company of Keurig, has been ranked 11th on Fortune magazine’s annual list of the 100 Fastest-Growing Companies.
The company is the highest ranked consumer-packaged-goods company on the list, which includes profitable and publicly held companies with at least $50 million in annual revenue, according to a statement from Green Mountain. Referring to the actual list, Fortune noted Green Mountain’s three-year annual rate (through last year) of 52 percent growth in earnings per share, 51 percent in revenue and 88 percent in total return to investors.
Lawrence J. Blanford, president and chief executive officer of Green Mountain, credited the company’ products (including the Keurig Single-Cup Brewing System) and its employees.
