COMMERCE, Calif.–Gibson Overseas has introduced an open stock collection of handcrafted, colored glass barware aimed squarely at the higher-end of the retail spectrum.
With four new designs in the three most popular shapes – highball, wine, and rocks glasses – Gibson’s new handcrafted designs target those looking to entertain at home with upscale, one-of-a-kind items.
“There’s growing interest in conversation starters, toasting with a glass that people recognize as special,” said Anne DeVito, marketing manager. “Beverageware sales actually grew [across the industry] in the past year. The trend towards staying in for dinner parties and cocktails with friends is stronger than ever.”
Gibson’s new assortment includes designs with color fired directly into the glass and embossed patterns in thicker gauges (4.5 to 6 mm). Suggested retail prices range from $5.99 for a rocks glass to $7.99 for a wine glass.
