Gibson: For Increased Sales, the Proof is in the Pallet

       

       

COMMERCE, Calif.-Pallet loads which easily convert to eye-catching product displays are growing in demand, according to Gibson Overseas.

With dozens of ready-to-go variations on hand, Gibson’s customizable solutions have been particularly successful in supermarkets – but summer, outdoor, and seasonal programs are available across many sales channels, the company said.

“It’s the kind of ‘out-of-the- box’ solution our retail partners love,” said Connie Bowman, vice president of product development. “Set-up is simple and retailers don’t give up any valuable shelf space in the process.”

The pallets were extremely popular at the International Home & Housewares Show, with programs involving cookware, bakeware, and every day dinnerware topping the list, Bowman said. This shipping and merchandising solution is also available for many of Gibson’s licensed brands, such as Sunbeam. Gibson’s Sunbeam bakeware pallet includes 300 pieces of cookie sheets, baking pans, and other popular items in a bright red display bearing the brand name. Retailers simply unwrap the pallets to display the products and prop up the signage.

“Many of our product lines are inspiring creative pallets,” Bowman said. “It just makes so much sense.”
