CLEVELAND–TTI Floor Care North America, the parent company of the Hoover and Dirt Devil vacuum brands, has appointed Marty Gardner as vice president of sales and Carolyn Resar as vice president of marketing.
The two positions have been restructured as part of the appointments, according to a TTI spokesman. Gardner is responsible for building the company’s retail partnerships across all channels of distribution, along with increasing sales for the Hoover and Dirt Devil product lines. Resar is in charge of managing the portfolios for the two brands with the aim of maximizing the consumer experience and loyalty to the two brands. Both executives report to Chris Gurreri, the company’s president.
Before joining TTI, Gardner served as vice president of U.S. retail, Puerto Rico, and export licensing for ICI Paints, and held a number of executive positions with General Electric. Prior to her appointment, Resar held positions in product development, channel management, communications and licensing for brands such as Glidden, Mr. Coffee, Disney, Ralph Lauren, Sherwin-Williams and Krylon.
