ZIONSVILLE, Ind.–Fanimation will host a release party to launch its newest portable fan, the Urbanjet, on Sept. 29. The party will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fanimation’s headquarters here where attendees can enjoy a vintage car display, free food catered by Edwards Drive?in Dashboard Diner, and tours of the Antique Fan Museum.
The UrbanJet is a compact, portable fan in a retro design available in baby blue, milky ivory, mysterious black, sonic silver and spicy red. It weighs just over five pounds, has a height just over 12 inches and operates at three different speeds with oscillation.
The family?friendly party for the UrbanJet will include face painting and balloon animals as well as restored classic cars. Food will include hot dogs, pulled pork BBQ and breaded pickles. The Antique Fan Museum has more than 450 antique fans. And from the car collection of Fanimation’s founder and CEO, Tom Frampton, vintage cars on display will include a fire engine red 1960 Studebaker Lark, a 1951 Dodge truck, a 1958 Corvette, a 1968 Oldsmobile 442 and a 1968 Mercury Cougar.
