LYNDHURST, N.J.–Fagor America and Crate & Barrel have created a partnership to roll out the Fagor Duo pressure cooker at all Crate & Barrel stores and on the retailer’s Web site.
In a Fagor statement that was confirmed by a Crate & Barrel spokeswoman, the manufacturer said the retailer’s sales associates will be trained by Fagor representatives this month about the techniques and benefits of pressure cooking. Fagor will also participate in a series of Crate & Barrel bridal events to promote the product and distribute information about pressure cooking.
Fagor also said the Duo pressure cooker has been a core item in its assortment for several years. Its retail price is $99.95, and as part of the Crate & Barrel launch, it will come with a bonus that includes a pressure-cooking cookbook, a digital stainless steel timer and a measuring cup.
