ANAHEIM, Calif.-Evriholder Products has reached an agreement to purchase Spongeables, which manufactures health and beauty products.
Spongeables produces more than 50 items under its namesake brand, and holds several patents worldwide including an “infusion” technology that combines time-released cleansing soaps, gels and other skin-care ingredients into a hypoallergenic sponge matrix. These products combine a sponge, a cleanser, massage and exfoliation into one product. Evriholder said in a joint statement by the two companies that it plans to sell the Spongeable-branded products and develop new ones to grow this brand and private-label products.
Also, Michael Popovsky, Spongeables’ co-founder and CEO, will join Evriholder as senior vice president. Popovsky’s primary responsibility will be to further develop the Spongeables line using the patented technology, along with developing new patented technologies.
Recently, Evriholder also said it has launched rebranding initiatives, including the new Evri name, logo, packaging and website.
