BOCA RATON, Fla.-Epoca International, Inc. said it is transitioning its Primula brand color palette for 2013, focusing on teal, marigold, blue, black and red. The brand is moving from shiny to matte finishes, and from deep purple and other rich jewel tones toward updated colors designed to create new reasons to buy at retail, it said in a statement.
Recognizing that color is “a crucial marker” in establishing a product as current, the Primula brand of beverage preparation products “leverages color trends to create visual appeal as an added benefit beyond functionality,” the company said.
“We derive our inspiration from the color trends in the world of fashion, design and home décor. The colors we select reflect the lifestyle our brand portrays,” said Brian Melzer, executive vice president of Epoca International, Inc.
The new colorways will be shown at the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago in March.
