Electrolux Sets Key Executives in Operations, Technology and Marketing

       

       

STOCKHOLM—Electrolux has named three executives to positions overseeing operations, technology and marketing.

Jonas Samuelson has been appointed chief operations officer and head of the company’s global operations in major appliances, and will continue in his current role as chief financial officer. Jan Brockmann has been named to the newly created position of chief technology officer, responsible for technology development. Marykay Kopf has been designated chief marketing officer, overseeing brand management, marketing and design.

All appointments take effect on Feb. 1, and all three executives report to Keith McLoughlin, who succeeded Hans Stråberg as president and chief executive officer on Jan. 1. Before assuming these posts, McLoughlin was chief operations officer and head of global operations in major appliances. An Electrolux statement did not mention a prior chief marketing officer.

Samuelson has served as chief financial officer since joining Electrolux in 2008. Brockmann joined the company last year as head of research and development, global operations for major appliances. Kopf had served as vice president of brand marketing for Electrolux Major Appliances North America since 2003.
