Discover Design a Sellout at Housewares Show

ROSEMONT, Ill.-The Discover Design section of the International Home + Housewares Show has been sold out.

The section, located in the Dine + Design Expo in the South Building of McCormick Place, where the show will take place, will showcase 116 companies with what the show's host and manager, the International Housewares Association, called "inspired design and cutting-edge product innovation." Companies new to the section for this year's show are Aesthetic Movement, Areaware, Teroforma, Legnoart, Menu and Present Time. Returnees include Alessi, Blomus, Joseph Joseph, Magisso, Nambe, Room Copenhagen and Serene House.

IHA has also added a new area, called Design Debut. Companies in this section will include Anne Black, Aramis, Deglon S.A., Headsprung and Toast Living. Design Debut will be located in booth S4283 in the South building.

Discover Design companies are eligible to compete for a Global Innovation Award (gia) for product innovation and booth design. Each company submitted two new products and one collection for consideration for the gia award. The winners will be announced at the invitation-only gia dinner on March 3.
