Cuisinart Participates in Rachael Ray Show Initiative to Reward Culinary Teacher
STAMFORD, Conn.-Cuisinart has donated a gift package to Wilma Stephenson, a high-school culinary teacher in Philadelphia, as part of an initiative of the "Rachael Ray Show."
The package, which was given to Stephenson on the "Rachael Ray Show" that aired yesterday, is a recognition of the teacher's years of service to her inner-city students. Stephenson has been a full-time member of the faculty at Frankford High School for 41 years, and was credited in a Cuisinart statement for serving as an inspiration, mentor and financial supporter to her students throughout the years. The gift package includes a state-of-the-art kitchen equipped with major appliances and Cuisinart products, and a five-day, four-night stay at the CuisinArt Resort and Spa on Anguilla Island in the Caribbean.
Also, Ray sent Carter Osterhouse, a design expert, to Frankford High School to lead a team of local construction workers in a complete makeover of Stephenson's teaching kitchen, which included Cuisinart small appliances.
