BIRMINGHAM, Ala.–Doug Reigle has been elected president and Bob Reichenbach vice president of the Cookware Manufacturers Association for the 2011-12 year. The election took place at the CMA’s 89th annual meeting in La Jolla, Calif. last week. Reigle is the chief operating officer of Regal Ware and Reichenbach is the executive vice president of Lifetime Brands.

In addition, Bill Carper, vice president of operations of Columbian Home Products; Darrin Johnston, senior vice president of U.S. sales, Meyer; and Christa Kaiser, global brand and market manager, DuPont Teflon Finishes, have joined CMA’s board as new directors, while David Purcell, Sr., director of product management, Wilton Industries, has joined the board to fulfill an unexpired term.

“I am looking forward to continuing the CMA’s mission of providing confidence in the cooking products produced and marketed to the trade partners and consumers by the 26 member companies,” said Reigle.
