Chef Appearances Scheduled for SF Gift Fair

       

       

SAN FRANCISCO–Spicing up the launch of the San Francisco International Gift Fair’s new Tabletop, Gourmet & Housewares section, popular San Francisco chefs and authors Andrea Froncillo and Mitchell Rosenthal will make guest appearances and sign cookbooks during the Feb. 18-21, 2012 edition.

“San Francisco is certainly a food town and what better way to kick off our new Tabletop, Gourmet & Housewares section than to showcase two local chefs responsible for some of the city’s famous food trends,” said Doug Miller, president, Urban Expositions, owners and managers of the San Francisco International Gift Fair. “Together with the top-notch educational program, these appearances promise to give retailers ideas for their own in-store events and traffic and profit-building promotions.”

Froncillo, author of  “The Stinking Rose Restaurant Cookbook” and “Crab: Buying, Cooking, Cracking” will offer a tasting and cookbook signing on Sat., Feb. 18 from 12 – 2 p.m. Mitch Rosenthal,  co-owner and executive chef of three San Francisco restaurants, Town Hall, Salt House and Anchor & Hope, will make an appearance and cookbook signing Sunday, Feb. 19 from 12 – 2 p.m.
