Capresso Expands Sales Team, Announces Award for Espresso Maker

CLOSTER, N.J.–Capresso has enlarged its sales force through internal appointments and new hires, while Jura-Capresso won the Good Design Award for its Impressa J5 espresso machine.
Regarding the sales team, David Shull, vice president of sales, has been named to the new position of vice president of sales and marketing, and is in charge of expanding Capresso’s sales and marketing efforts. John Evans, formerly Eastern region key accounts manager for Le Creuset of America, has been appointed national sales manager for Capresso, reporting to Shull. Saundra Rich has been appointed to the newly created position of national training and demonstration coordinator, also reporting to Shull and now in charge of increasing the company’s retailer support. Prior to joining Capresso, Rich served as product development and account manager for Home Fragrance Holdings, a specialty candle company.
Becky Sawicki, formerly Capresso’s assistant sales manager, has been named assistant sales and marketing manager, also reporting to Shull. Maura Gillespie, formerly with Capresso customer service, has assumed the new position of sales assistant, reporting to Sawicki.
The Good Design Award was bestowed on the Impressa J5 by the Chicago Athenaeum, the independent museum of architecture and design. The award honors quality design in form, function and aesthetic.
