GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.–Bissell Homecare has inaugurated an online contest to help promote its Pet Hair Eraser vacuum package, called the Most Valuable Pet photo contest.
Pet owners can submit photos of their dogs or cats to petphotos@bissell.com. The contest winner’s photo will be featured on the Pet Hair Eraser carton, and the winner will receive a vacuum and a $10,000 donation to the pet charity of his or her choice. The contest will run until April 22, and throughout consumers can visit the Bissell Web site to vote for their favorite pet photo.
Vacuums will be awarded to weekly winners, and the top five winners will be entered to receive the grand prize. According to a Bissell statement, the company will choose the winners based on expression, overall appearance and the condition of the pets’ coats.
