GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.–Bissell has launched an online fundraising campaign to help homeless pets in the United States find homes.
From now through September, the company will donate 50 cents to the Petfinder.com Foundation for each new fan who joins its Facebook page, and has established the goal of contributing $50,000 in 2011. The company has also issued an invitation to consumers throughout the United States and Canada to join its Facebook page this summer. Existing Bissell fans on Facebook can also register, after which the company will make a donation to the foundation.
The Petfinder.com Foundation works with animal shelters and rescues across North America to find homes for homeless pets.
