VALLEJO, CALIF.–Anolon will be the exclusive kitchenware sponsor of the inaugural culinary event “Slow Food Nation,” which takes place in San Francisco this Labor Day weekend.
Slow Food USA is the non-profit organization founded in 1989 that promotes people eating food that is good for them and the planet. Expected to attract 50,000 to 60,000 people, the event will include chef cooking demonstrations in a specially designed “green kitchen,” workshops, exhibits and other activities. Anolon’s partnership with Slow Food Nation also heralds the launch of its Anolon Ultra Clad and Anolon Chef Clad cookware.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Slow Food Nation in making their first-ever event a great success,” said Suzanne Murphy, vice president of marketing for Meyer Corp. “Slow Food Nation will be a transformative experience, bringing together a cadre of home cooks, influential chefs and foodies who care about eating food that is fresh, wholesome and produced using sustainable methods.”
