NEW YORK–Waverly showed five key fabric collections that run the gamut in looks at its Park Avenue showroom this morning.
Fresh Take combines a damask ikat design, a statement floral, an embroidered-insect pattern, a sateen stripe and a matelasse. Nomadic travels, inspired by early 1900s train travel, includes animal prints, a medallion ikat, a stripe, a pattern of exotic birds and a chenille diamond. The new Williamsburg designs, inspired by the Colonial Williamsburg archives, modernizes these looks to encompass an Asian toile, a rose-and-vine pattern and a geometric inspired by the gardens at the historic site.
Two other collections, Sun N Shade and Sun N Shade Endurance, take Waverly into outdoors products. The Sun N Shade group includes a stripe, a vintage floral and a solid, while Sun N Shade Endurance combines a Japanese stencil pattern with a damask and a geometric.
The items have already started shipping to retailers.
