WAITSFIELD, Vt.-Verilux said its philanthropic efforts raised more than $60,000 to benefit 25 international, national and local non-profit organizations.
Among the groups Verilux supported were those dedicated to protecting the environment and human rights, aiding the poor, seeking cures for cancer and enhancing local communities through the nation. The groups include the Environmental Defense Fund, Nature Conservancy, the National Wildlife Foundation, Greenpeace, the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Union of Concerned Scientists, the Sierra Club and Amnesty International.
