DES PLAINES, Ill.–United Feather & Down has donated bedding to the United Relief Foundation’s Project Restoring Home program.

As part of this project, the bedding manufacturer contributed bed pillows and comforters to homeless shelters in the Chicago area. Stephen Palmer, president of United Feather, personally delivered comforters to the program, which in turn gave them to the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Wheaton, Ill., and the Journeys from PADS to HOPE shelter in Palatine, Ill.

The United Relief Foundation was formed in 2006 to provide help to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Since then, it has expanded into other humanitarian efforts.
