AT THE NEW YORK MARKET–United Feather & Down has reached a license agreement with Borghese, the cosmetics and skin-care products manufacturer, for a line of basic bedding and accessories.
The collection, which is being launched at this week’s New York Home Fashions Market, will be branded Villa Di Borghese, and will reach retailers next month, according to Bob Hickman, senior vice president of sales and marketing for United Feather. It will include comforters, bed pillows and booties filled with United Feather’s Botanical Down, along with a spa pillow and spa body wrap with the company’s Botanical Down Alternative. Each product is packaged with a sample of a Borghese cosmetic product.
“This cooperative project with Borghese brings together two companies with a rich European foundation, well versed in bringing affordable luxury and comfort to today’s woman,” Hickman said in a joint statement from the two companies.
