AT THE NEW YORK MARKET–Town & Country Living is unveiling its line of kitchen textiles and table linens under the Royal Velvet brand name.
David Beyda, chairman of Town & Country, said the company is working on the line with Iconix Brand Group, owner of the Royal Velvet brand. The kitchen line includes terry towels in six solid and plaid colorways, with coordinating oven mitts and potholders. The table offerings have a casual but sophisticated design and are geared toward an “affordable luxury” price point, according to a Town & Country statement.
Town & Country also said it is expanding into the beach arena with a full line of beach towels and related items, also being introduced this week. The company has named Ronnie Gindi vice president of its beach division.
