United Feather & Down
United Feather & Down unveiled its license with Borghese, the manufacturer of cosmetics and skin-care products, at the New York Home Fashions Market. The new line includes comforters and bed pillows filled with United Feather’s trademarked Botanical Down, a blend of patented Tencel lyocell fibers and natural down, or with a trademarked Botanical Down Alternative which is a blend of microfiber and Tencel. The comforters and pillows come packaged with samples of Borghese’s Dolce Notte Reenergizing Night Creme, Piedi Vitale Therapeutic Foot Creme, Botanico Eye Compresses and Bagno di Vita Body Soak. The products are priced at retail at $199.99 for the down-alternative comforter, $299.99 for a down comforter and $79.99 for a pillow. Revman International
The Hollywood ensemble joined Revman’s Michael Kors licensed program during the New York Home Fashions Market last month. Inspired by retro florals, the design portrays graphic dahlias on the outer bed and includes a color palette of fresh corals and pinks, inspired by Kors’ fragrance, Very Hollywood. The Hollywood ensemble also includes overscaled geometric sheets and mitered stripe euro shams, which combine to give it a clean and tailored look. Decorative pillows with zebra embroidery and gold pyramid studs are included to add a touch of glamor to the ensemble. Revman reconfigured the layout of its showroom for market week, and one reason was to give “special impact” for the Michael Kors program by placing the collection front and center, said Diane Piemonte, vice president of creative services. The company also continued its efforts to build the bath line for the Michael Kors brand, introducing Hollywood also as a complete bath ensemble of shower curtains, towels and bath accessories. The company emphasized color in debuts for all of its licensed collections. “Spring 2010 looks to be the most colorful season in quite some time,” Piemonte said. revman.com

CHF Industries
One of the most striking debuts during September’s New York Home Fashions Market was this collection of bathroom products from CHF Industries. Called Russian Dolls, the line draws its design inspiration from the folk art of Eastern Europe, and is now available in a choice of background colors in ivory (pictured here) and brown. The collection includes a variety of printed, jacquard and embroidered towels, each in 100 percent cotton. Coordinating with these are printed, 100 percent cotton shower curtains; rugs in 100 percent cotton, either tufted or looped; and accessories with a lacquer finish. The grouping’s design features a brightly colored palette of motifs, all “from Russia with love,” according to a statement from CHF. September market also brought the launch of CHF’s highly anticipated Peanuts licensed collection, with the first grouping consisting of ensembles for both bedroom and bathroom. The bedding includes an ensemble based on a Peanuts color comic strip, while the bath collection offered images of Snoopy, Woodstock and other characters from the iconic comic strip. chfindustries.com

The company entered into its license with Phillips-Van Heusen, parent company of Izod, last June. The program includes sheets; bed ensembles; bath towels and accessories; blankets and throws; and down-filled comforters, pillows and mattress pads. It is being geared toward department stores and specialty stores, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in spring 2010.
