Sure Fit Inc., which has been a major player in slip covers at all price points since its founding in 1914, has focused its sights on the high end with the debut of its Premium Collection.

The line consists of slip covers made from upholstery-grade fabrics, and is designed with features such as top-stitching, contrast cording, layered fabrics and adjustable fittings—decorator details typical of custom upholstery, said a Sure Fit statement. The collection includes covers for chairs, love seats and petite- and regular-size sofas. Prices range from $129.99 for a chair slip cover to $189.99 for a full sofa slip cover.

Hugh Rovit, Sure Fit’s CEO, said the introduction of the Premium collection means that the company’s line “now offers something for everyone—from the discerning shopper seeking unique craftsmanship to the consumer looking for quality product at an affordable price point.”

The Premier line is divided into two collections, Carlisle and Alpine. Both of these collections are intended to showcase “lasting, quality workmanship,” the company’s statement said.—David Gill
