BIRMINGHAM, Ala.–Southern Living, the regional lifestyle magazine, has joined forces with three manufacturers to launch new branded collections of bedding, rugs and custom-covered furniture.
The bed ensembles and rugs will be packaged under the Southern Living Home label, while the covers will be offered as Southern Living Style Covers by Bailey Street. PEM America is the partner for the bed ensembles, which will reach retailers in December. The patterns are Southern Seasons, a casual botanical print; Callaway, a classic Southern floral; and Lilly Haven, which features layers of texture.
For the rugs, Southern Living has partnered with Hellenic Rug Imports for a rug line with traditional and transitional designs, priced ranging from $249 for smaller outdoor rugs to $599 for larger indoor rugs. (A Southern Living statement did not disclose pricing for the bedding or the rugs.) Bailey Street is producing the furniture covers in 25 different styles and three options—parson’s dining chair, slipper chair and bench.
Southern Living also plans to debut a Web site for the new lines, southernlivinghomecollection.com, on Aug. 1.
