Six Slated to Receive IFDA's Circle of Excellence Awards

NEW YORK-- The New York chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association will hold its Circle of Excellence awards on Nov. 7 at the Union Square Ballroom in Manhattan.
This year, the awards honor the talent and accomplishments of six corporations and individuals within the design and furnishing industry.
The honorees are: Inge Heckel, president of the New York School of Interior Design; Barclay Butera, president and chief executive officer of Barclay Butera Inc.; domino magazine and its editor in chief, Deborah Needleman; Michael Bruno, president and founder of 1stdibs.com, a marketplace for antiques and midcentury decorative arts; Karim Rashid, principal of Karim Rashid Inc.; and retailer Maurice Villency Inc. and its president, Eric Villency.
Claire Coleman, founder, former national president and fellow of IFDA, will receive a lifetime achievement award. --Christine Bockelman
