NEW YORK–S. Lichtenberg & Sons, the home textiles supplier that is marking its 76th year in business, has been added to the slate of honorees for next year’s Home Products Scholarship Breakfast, sponsored by the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Home Fashion Products Association.
Already named to be honored at the annual event are Welspun, the big textiles supplier, and Steve Fishman, head of Big Lots, the off-price retailer. The breakfast, which benefits the home products program at FIT, is set to be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Ticket information and further details will be announced in the weeks ahead.
Herb Lichtenberg, S. Lichtenberg’s former president and son of company founder Sam Lichtenberg, passed away earlier this month.
