LOUISVILLE, Ky.–Louisville Bedding Co. has named Rob Rudy executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, a new position for the basic-bedding manufacturer.

Rudy has assumed charge over the company’s human-resources, marketing, sales, quality and technical-development departments. He is also continuing in his current post as president of Louisville Bedding-Canada. He reports to Steve Elias, president and chief executive officer.

Rudy has been president of the Canadian unit, formerly known as AHF Inc., for the past 24 years.
