Roman Chosen HFPA President

NEW YORK–Rich Roman, president of Revman Industries, has been elected president of the Home Fashion Products Association.
Roman’s term will begin on Jan. 1, 2010, and he remains on the association’s board of directors. HFPA also chose new directors for the board, including Gretchen Dale, chief operating officer of Loftex; Ed Greenberg, vice president of Pem-America; Andrew Riesel, executive vice president of Richloom Fabrics; and Keith Sorgeloos, president of Home Source International. Re-elected to serve another term on the board were Frank Foley, president of CHF Industries; Jeff Hollander, chief executive officer of Hollander Home Fashions; and Tom Merriman, vice president of sales to department stores and specialty stores for Mohawk Home.
Continuing on the board along with Roman will be Steve Elias, president of Louisville Bedding; Nancy Golden, vice president of marketing and brand management for WestPoint Home; Carl Goldstein, senior vice president of S. Lichtenberg; Mark Grand, chief operating officer of Peking Handicraft; Bob Hamilton, marketing director of Welspun; Carl Legreca, vice president of marketing and merchandising for bath at Croscill; Barry Leonard, president of Croscill, Ex-Cell Home Fashions and Glenoit; Tom O’Connor, president of Springs Global; and Stephen Palmer, co-president of United Feather & Down.
