NEW YORK–Revman International has reached a license agreement with WGBH, the Boston-based public television station, to produce a line of quilts under the Antiques Roadshow brand.
The manufacturer has already created a collection of six quilts under the brand, whose designs are inspired by historic quilt patterns. As part of the agreement, the packaging for the products will show the historical origins of each design. Rich Roman, Revman’s president and chief executive officer, said in a company statement, “The history behind the design inspiration, as well as the authority of the brand, sets the collection apart from the majority of product being offered in the market.”
Now in its 12th PBS season, “Antiques Roadshow” presents specialists who offer free appraisals of family heirlooms, yard-sale bargains and long-lost items.
Revman said it will begin previewing the new collection later this month to all customers. The products are slated for shipment to stores this coming October.
